It's been refreshing to have a brief stay in the vibrant city of Istanbul, along with a longer time in dog-eared, dog eat dog (post-communist) Bulgaria - both pleasantly different to the Yorkshire Wolds ! Reassuring to return to some damp and cool weather and the vague aroma of autumn........
